wood does, so it dramatically reduces the wasteful cycle of repair and replacements. It also 
eliminates the frequent application of environmentally harmful paint, sealers, and stains. Oakio composite deck planks are manufactured with recycled wood materials that would otherwise go into landfills. In addition, Oakio is able to regrind scrap products back into the manufacturing process. Oakio recycles water during the manufacturing process. Oakio does not require painting, staining, 
or sealing.

Wood plastic composite products are a mix of hard wood fibers, recycled polyethylene, bonding agent, additives, and tint. It is a long-lasting, hardwearing, low maintenance alternative to traditional timber products.

The obvious reason for using WPC composite decking is preserving the environment.  As environmental pressures on the industry (in terms of recycling and sustainability) grow daily, there is a clear need to extend the life of our traditional building materials such as wood. WPC efficient use of materials that are currently seen as waste supports this concept; that of sustainable development.  Being made of almost 100% recycled materials and being 100% recyclable WPC’s impact on our precious forest resources is negligible, reducing our carbon foot print on the earth.  Other environmental benefits of WPC include: There is negligible waste and any that is produced is reused WPC contain no toxins or volatile organic compounds WPC are 100% recyclable and can be reground and reused after their service life WPC are considered non-hazardous waste so can be disposed of by standard methods.

Like any uncapped wood plastic composite board, the WPC decking boards will lighten as they naturally weather over the first 2-3 months of outdoor exposure before establishing. The board lightening is caused by rain washing out naturally occurring dark wood oils (called tannins) and natural lightening from UV exposure. The color change is most noticeable in the lighter colors: Oak, Silver Birch, and Stone, where the contrast between the colored tannins and initial board color is larger. As the board weathers, the grain’s subtle contrast eventually derives almost entirely through how the different textures reflect light rather than a genuine color differential. For this reason, it is often preferable to lay lighter colors groove side up.

Oakio products are designed to take on very little water (c.1%). Our ranges have a much lower absorption rate than timber which heavily reduces the likelihood of wet rot over a longer period of time.

Yes! You can cut, nail, drill, screw, and rout Oakio with standard woodworking tools. The density of Oakio is greater than timber that’s why we recommend using carbide tipped blades and bits.

WPC products offer superior durability and performance that you can’t get from wood. WPC decking won’t rot, warp, or splinter; and they never require staining or painting to maintain great looks.

Polyethylene is non-toxic and is used for applications such as milk jugs, water jugs and grocery sacks. When burned completely, it will convert to carbon dioxide and water vapor.

For this reason slight color variations may occur (more noticeable when purchasing different lengths of boards or when laying the boards “wide groove up”) We advise purchasing decking boards in the same lengths to avoid initial color difference. Although we will always endeavor to pick all products from the same batch, when orders are added or amended at a later date the boards will likely be from a different batch therefore color variation is likely. Please ensure you order the correct amount of boards on the initial order.

We offer a 15 years warranty on all our extrusion decking and 25 years on all co extrusion decking, it is meaning you get peace of mind with your new decking. We anticipate when looked after well outdoor composite decking will last well in excess of the 10-25 years warranty.

WPC decking is a pressed extruded composite wood product made from wood powder and recycled plastic. Although it is an unconventional deck, it can be cut, drilled and fixed like traditional wood. Cutting can generally be done by using standard woodworking tools. Table saws, circular saws, and miter saws are your best choice. Choose the blades made of a hard alloy to ensure a smooth cut. Be careful not to overheat the blade during cutting, otherwise, it will affect the cutting effect. Before installing our WPC decking, you will need to read our installation guide in advance to ensure proper installation. Although WPC decking is similar to wood, it still needs attention in the details of fixing and gap etc.. In addition, our professional technical team can also provide technical advisory support for you.

Oakio Decking is designed with micro-grooves that aid in slip-resistance. Regardless of conditions, our ranges can outperform timber, however, we will recommend extra caution if the decking becomes wet.

As composite and plastic material expands and contract down the length of the product from changes in temperature, we do always require adequate expansion spacing left at the end of each product. The correct spacing required can be found in the WPC decking installation guide of each product.

Using a standard household washing up liquid will be effective when cleaning Oakio products, do not use any cleaners stronger than this or any cleaners containing a bleaching agent.

Yes! Oakio’s fully capped color technology coats the boards with a high stain, scratch, and fade resistant layer. In addition, the boards are waterproof, so there is no need for any labor that would be necessary with regular timber. Normal sweeping and cleaning is still necessary to clean off debris and dirt.

Spacer tabs create a uniform gap between the slabs placed on top pf the pedestals. The tabs are available in different widths, depending on the space required. The following widths are available: 3, 5 or 8mm.

Rubber Shims are available to adjust small differences in tile thickness. They are available in 1and 2 mm thickness and are placed directly on top of the pedestals. Besides, the Rubber Shims could also avoid the noise of the stone tiles touch the Oakio pedestals.

To increase stability a pedestal can be turned upside down(base becomes top).

Oakio composite decking pedestals can be used with any kind of decking material including stone, granite, marble, hydra-pressed concrete, wood, composites, industrial grating, ceramic, and wood tiles.

Oakio composite decking pedestals are all assembled well, only need to adjust the height which you require during the installation.

It is very easy to adjust Oakio pedestal deck system‘s height, adding one Extender could raise the height of 80-120mm, and on a small range of height it just need to screw down the strengthening ring to fox the height. Oakio pedestal is also equipped with a safety clip system to avoid unscrewing.

Oakio slope corrector could be placed on the bottom of the Oakio deck tile pedestals, with the Oakio slope corrector it is possible to build a perfectly level surface by rotating the Oakio slope corrector. It is possible to adjust the slope between 0% to 5%.

Use the following formula (This formula is only suitable for the tile length less than 800mm) 1.Include one pedestal for every tile 2.Count the number of tiles around the perimeter of the tiles ares and divide this number by tow 3. Add the number of pedestals calculated in step 1. to the number calculated in step 2. 4. Add 5%to the total number of deck tile pedestals calculated in step 2. 5. SPC flooring (Stone Plastic Composite flooring) means stone plastic composite Flooring. SPC Click Flooring is and upgrade and improvement of regular Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT).  The main contents of SPC Rigid Flooring are natural limestone powder, polyvinyl chloride and stablizer, giving it incredible strength, rigidity and waterproof properties.

Oakio waterproof SPC Flooring Maintenance and cleaning is very easy. SPC flooring is not only cheaper than vinyl flooring and solid floor, but also it is much easier to clean and maintain. SPC flooring products are waterproof, but it can be damaged by improper cleaning methods. It only takes some simple steps then you can enjoy your SPC floor and the SPC flooring will keep it’s natural look for very long time. Use a lightweight vacuum or broom to remove dirt and debris. Choose one mop, the mop can be damp, do not forget to rinse the floor if you using soap and clean the SPC floor with a mop again. When we want to deep clean the SPC floor, we can add some white vinegar into the water. If the white vinegar does not work, we can also some dish soap together. Please note, Strong, abrasive cleaners and wired brushed scrubbing pads should not be used on SPC flooring. This will destroy the top layer of SPC floor. Besides, SPC floor does not require any wax.

(1) Look at the appearance: a smooth surface, no pollution, no obvious stain, clear pattern, no damage;  (2) To see the splicing: randomly selected two panels, no height difference spell together, there is no obvious gap in the middle; (3) Anti-peel ability: break the floor, hard pull, the surface decorative layer and the substrate is not easy to separate.
